Position: IT Support

Provide IT support specializing in Mac platform and related applications. Work closely with end users consisting of dynamic/creative designers and editors in a mixed Windows/Mac environment.

System Level Experience:

  • Bachelor or Associates degree in computer science, computer technology or related field/equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years supporting Mac platform and family of products.
  • Experience in OS X current and prior operating system versions.
  • Experience in NFS, CIFS and HFS+ file system
  • Experience of Adobe Creative Suite would be highly advantageous. Other content creation or publishing product experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a customer service capacity preferred
  • Network experience including Wireless, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Bonjour protocols preferred
  • Active Directory/Windows networking and security is a plus.
  • VMWare/SAN exposure or Linux/BSD experiences a plus.

    Position: IT Operation Analyst

    Duties & responsibilities

    • Accountability & responsibility for providing operational support for all in-house developed systems including AS400

    • ĎHands-oní responsibility for day to day Operation tasks including:- Batch job submission, reports creation/generation, data backup & restore, etc perform mainly on AS400 & other PC/Server base systems

    • Create reports using AS/400 queries, MS SQL query & Crystal Reports

    • Develop & Maintain documentation for all Operation procedures

    • Responsible for planning & implementation of all Operational procedure for new & existing systems in accordance with business requirement & Client corporate standard

    • Effective working relationship with IT Helpdesk & other members within the IT team. Will be held joint accountability for the IT organizationís service level agreements for 2nd & 3rd level support.

    • Participate in developing IT solutions & strategies with other members of the IT team & with the branch

    • Participate in providing IT Helpdesk services when requested

    Competencies / Skills:

    • Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field will be preferred

    • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.

    • Very strong AS400 technical skills: AS/400 tools & utilities (such as Query/400 and SQL, DFU, etc.)

    • Experience with AS400 Operation

    • Knowledge on MS SQL & Crystal Report is a must (such as MS Querry, transact SQL statement, etc)

    • Knowledge on Data Mirror Transformation Server and/or iCluster preferred

    • Knowledge of how IT Help Desk operates

    • Strong judgment, problem resolution, analyzing, decision making skills, & very meticulous.
